orchestra

I have played cello since elementary school. These days I sit in my high school’s top orchestra, where I serve as a section leader — running sectionals, setting bowings, and keeping eight cellists moving in the same direction, which is harder than any merge conflict.

Outside of class: chamber music, pit orchestra, and the occasional solo & ensemble run. Practicing scales is debugging for your hands.
